Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration (2017-2018)

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana” was announced by the Government of India on 13th January 2016 which is rolling out from June 2016 with an objective to let farmers pay a very low premium to insure their crops. Farmers will have to pay a premium of only 1.5% for paddy, Brinjal, Cauliflower, Tomato, Watermelon & 3.5% for Potato at Gomati District during 2016-17.
